Inspiring Sights Inside the Temple

As you climb the steps into the temple, you’ll be greeted by an impressive 40-foot golden Buddha sitting peacefully within the cave. This massive statue is not only a stunning sight but also sets the tone for the calm and magical atmosphere that fills the temple.

Once you step further into the cave, you’ll notice the walls are covered with beautiful and detailed paintings. Some of these murals are over 5 meters tall and showcase mythical creatures, heavenly beings, and scenes inspired by Buddhist teachings.

The Climb to the Peak

Here’s where the adventure kicks in! At the end of the cave, you’ll find a staircase that leads up to the temple’s higher levels. Climbing the stairs might be a little tiring, but trust us—it’s worth it. There’s a small resting spot halfway up where you can catch your breath, but if you’re up for it, keep going to the very top.

When you reach the peak, the view will leave you speechless. From up there, you can see almost the entire city of Ipoh, surrounded by mountains. On a clear day, you’ll even spot the North-South Expressway stretching far into the distance. The cool breeze and peaceful vibes up there make it the perfect spot to relax and soak in the scenery.
